Windham Gym Update! Hope to open Dec 1st, Founding Members and Sponsors.
As of right now, we are hoping for a December 1 opening date for the new Windham location.

3 bathrooms (2 showers), sauna & cold plunge room.
There is still work to do. There are still decisions to make. There are still budgets, inspections, equipment timelines, insurance questions, and all the behind-the-scenes pieces that come with opening a new location. But we wanted to give everyone a clear update because we know many of you have been asking, cheering us on, and waiting patiently. We will keep everyone updated if anything changes.
We are building this as a local gym, not a franchise

One thing we want to be very honest about is we are a small, locally owned business.
We are not a franchise. We do not have a large corporate team behind us. We do not have a rich uncle writing blank checks. We are building this with the funds available to us, the support of our members, and a lot of hard work.
That means every decision matters. Equipment choices matter. Flooring matters. Layout matters. Insurance matters. Amenities matter. Timing matters...
We are doing our best to put together something great for Windham and the surrounding community without cutting corners on the parts that matter most. We want this gym to feel serious, welcoming, clean, and well-equipped from the start. We do not want to open just to say we opened. We want to open with a space that feels ready.
We also want to say a huge thank you to our founding members and founding sponsors. Your early support has helped move this project forward in a real way. Every sign-up, every conversation, every share, every sponsor commitment has made a difference. This kind of support matters more than people may realize. It helps us make stronger choices early, and it shows that the community believes in what we are trying to build.
What we know right now about memberships at both locations

One of the biggest questions we have been getting is whether members will be able to use both locations with one membership. The honest answer is: we do not have the final answer yet. We know this is something people want. We want it too. We are currently working through the insurance side of things to hopefully make this possible.
If we can make it work right away, that would be ideal. If we cannot make it happen on day one, you can expect us to keep working on it, and our hope would be to have that option in place within about six months of opening.
The equipment plan

We are excited about the equipment going into the Windham location.
Almost all of the equipment being added to this space is new, and we are not skimping on quality. The goal is to bring in top-of-the-line pieces that can hold up to daily use for
many years.
A good gym needs more than a few machines and a couple of dumbbells. It needs a layout that supports different goals and training styles. Some people want strength training. Some want general fitness. Some want classes. Some want a clear program to follow. Some want help getting started because they have no idea what to do when they walk in.
We are building the space with all of that in mind.
The equipment plan is meant to support:
Strength training with dependable, high-quality equipment
Functional training and workout variety
Cardio options for conditioning and heart health
Beginner-friendly training paths
More advanced training for people who already know their way around a gym
Group classes and guided workouts
Programs that can be followed through our app
Quality matters because cheap equipment does not feel the same, does not last the same, and often does not give members the best experience. We want people to walk in and feel like the space was built with care.
We hope to add a sauna and cold plunge
Another thing many people have asked about is recovery.
We are hoping to have both a sauna and cold plunge at the new Windham location. The rooms for them are being built out, which is a big step.
The piece we are still working through is the budget.
We would love to have them ready right away. If the budget does not allow for that by opening day, our hope is to add them within about six months of opening.
We know these amenities are exciting. We also know they need to be done correctly. Sauna and cold plunge spaces need the right setup, maintenance plan, safety considerations, and long-term care. We do not want to rush something that should be built and managed properly.
So the short version is this:
The rooms are being built out.
We want both a sauna and cold plunge.
They may be ready right away, or they may come within about six months.
We will update everyone as the budget and timeline become clearer.
Recovery is a big part of fitness, and these amenities would add a lot to the experience. We want them in the space.

We are not just opening another gym
A lot of gyms give people access to equipment and leave it at that. That is not how we want to do things and that is not how we do things at the Gray location either.
We believe in meeting with each new client and helping them figure out what kind of support may actually help them. Some people need accountability. Some need a workout plan. Some need nutrition guidance. Some need to learn how to use equipment safely. Some need a way to track progress that is not based only on the number on the scale.
That personal support is a big part of what we want the Windham gym to offer as well!
Depending on each person’s goals, support may include:
Classes for structure, energy, and instruction
Workout programs built into our app
Nutrition coaching
Macros training
InBody scans to track body composition
Help choosing the right starting point
Ongoing guidance as goals change
A plan to follow and match their goals along the way
The goal is not to overwhelm people with options. The goal is to help each person find the next best step.
Someone who is newer to fitness may need a simple plan and a little confidence. Someone who has trained for years may want better equipment, better structure, and a place that takes training seriously. Someone focused on fat loss may need help understanding nutrition beyond calories alone. Someone trying to gain muscle may need a better way to measure progress than body weight.
That is why tools like the InBody scan can be so helpful.

What the InBody scan shows beyond the scale
The scale gives one number. That number can be useful, but it does not tell the full story.
An InBody scan helps provide a more complete look at body composition. Depending on the model and report, it can show information such as:
Muscle mass
Body fat mass
Body fat percentage
Segmental muscle balance
Water levels
Estimated basal metabolic rate
Changes over time
This can be especially helpful because progress does not always show up as a lower number on the scale. For example, someone may lose body fat and gain muscle at the same time. The scale might barely move, but their body composition may be improving. Clothes may fit better. Strength may go up. Energy may improve. Measurements may change.
Without better tracking, that person might feel discouraged. With an InBody scan, they can see more of what is actually happening. We do not want people to chase random numbers. We want people to understand their progress and make better decisions based on real feedback.
Of course, no scan or device is perfect, and fitness progress should never be judged by one number alone. But used consistently, the InBody can be a useful tool for seeing trends and keeping people focused on more than body weight.
Looking to be a Founding Sponsor? Your business will have a permanent place in the gym.

We still have room for businesses that want to become founding sponsors.
If you own a business and want to support the new Windham location, founding sponsorship is a great way to do it. Your business logo will be proudly displayed in the gym permanently, which should help your business stay visible to members and visitors for years.
That kind of visibility can lead to referrals on its own, especially when your business supports a place people are using regularly. We will also promote founding sponsors in posts like this, on social media during the build-out, and naturally beyond the opening.
This is more than a logo on a wall. It is a way to show that your business helped bring something positive to the community from the very beginning.
If you have been thinking about becoming a founding member, there is still time. Founding members are a major part of helping this new location get off the ground. Early support helps us plan better, buy better, and build better. It also helps us see what the community is looking for before the doors open.
Founding Sponsor — CYR Painting
CYR Painting isn’t just a trusted local business—they’re also members of our gym community! They painted the ceilings at our new Windham location and did an incredible job. They work quickly, are dependable, and the finished product looks fantastic. We were so happy with their work that we plan to use them for the rest of the painting needed throughout the build-out. We’re grateful to have them as one of our Founding Sponsors!
Founding Sponsor — Texoma Financial Services
A financial team I can personally recommend and trust. I’ve worked with Texoma for years, and I’m incredibly grateful I listened to their advice in my early 20s and started saving and investing when I did. Having knowledgeable people you trust to help guide you when it comes to your hard-earned money makes such a difference. We’re proud to have Texoma supporting Beyond Fitness as a Founding Sponsor!
Founding Sponsor — The Paladino Team, Realtors
Local Realtors who know the community and genuinely care about the people they work with. Several of our members have worked with The Paladino Team and have been extremely happy with their experiences and results. Even better, they’re members of our gym community themselves! We love supporting local businesses that also support us, and we’re so happy to have The Paladino Team as a Founding Sponsor.
Founding Sponsor — Weldology Permanent Jewelry
Weldology is a unique local business specializing in permanent jewelry, and they’re growing right alongside us! They’ll be moving into a new space of their own right next to the gym around the same time we’re opening our doors. We’re excited to have another local business nearby and are so appreciative of their support as a Founding Sponsor!
Founding Sponsors — David & Lucy
This one is especially meaningful. David and Lucy are community members who simply wanted to play a part in supporting the build-out of our new Windham location. There’s something pretty incredible about people choosing to support a local business simply because they believe in what we’re building. David and Lucy, we appreciate you both more than you know. Thank you for being part of this with us from the beginning! 🧡
Thank you for helping us create a space that members can be proud to use.
If you are interested in founding sponsorship, please email us at beyondfitusa@gmail.com and we will send over the details. We would be happy to talk through what sponsorship includes and how your business will be recognized.

We also encourage everyone to follow along on Instagram for build-out updates, equipment previews, opening announcements and behind-the-scenes progress.
As we get closer to December 1, we will continue sharing updates on:

Thank you for helping us build something real
We know people have choices when it comes to fitness. Our goal is to create a gym that feels worth choosing. A place with quality equipment. A place with real support. A place where beginners feel comfortable starting and experienced lifters still have what they need. A place that uses tools like nutrition coaching, macros training, app-based programs, and InBody scans to help people make progress they can actually understand.
We will keep working, keep updating, and keep doing our best to build something great with the resources we have.
Thank you for being part of it from the beginning.
